Job Description
Roles Responsibilities
Oversee all stores operations i.e receiving of goods and dispatch thereto
Handle all farm procurement using innovative means to ensure efficiency
Improve stock entries and records
Keep the store organized and neat
Verify the validity of requisition
Issuing diesel and regular checking of diesel consumption of farm implements
Sourcing of items needed by different departments
Streamline procurement process by selecting only a few wholesaler to deal with
Ensure goods are kept by first in first out
Ensure recording of the necessary data in ledger and computer on time
Resolve discrepancies in requisition, purchase order and delivery reports by conducting vendors or requestors
Supervise the unpacking of incoming goods and ensure proper wraps and packs for outgoing goods.
Education
Diploma or Degree in Procurement and Suppliers or relevant field.
Experience
Minimum of 2yrs of experience working as a warehouse or storekeeper
